About Me

Maria Morano is a dynamic professional with a rich background in TV, film, and video production as well as a knack for creating engaging social media projects. With a relentless drive and dedication to her craft, she has steadily climbed the ranks in the entertainment industry. Most recently serving as an Office Production Assistant and Production Secretary on projects for esteemed companies such as ABC Disney, NBC, and CBS, Maria is on a determined path to ascend within the production office. Currently, Maria is assistant to the Executive Producer/Director of the hit CBS Paramount+ series “Evil” during its final season.

Maria's journey in the world of entertainment began with a bang when she worked with the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival right out of college. There, she honed her skills and further developed a deep passion for the art of production. This passion led her to partner with a colleague to form their own film festival titled "30 Under 30", dedicated to showcasing the talents of young, emerging filmmakers. One of Maria's most meaningful achievements was the partnership of "30 Under 30" with the United Nations in 2016. The platform enabled filmmakers to tell stories that highlighted and supported the UN’s sustainable development goals, intending to make a meaningful impact on both the film industry and the world at large.

With an unwavering commitment to her dreams and a strong desire to contribute to the underrepresented female voices in filmmaking, Maria Morano is on a mission to become a prominent female in the entertainment industry with her future endeavors in film, TV, and the digital realm. Her journey is a testament to her talent, dedication, and burning passion for storytelling through the lens of a camera. Maria looks forward to what the future holds and the opportunity to apply her multifaceted skillset to projects that will make a significant impact in the world of entertainment.

Tribeca Film Festival

Role: Editor/Social Media Producer

I have worked with Tribeca both as an intern and Social Media Producer. As an intern, I further developed my skills as an editor and had the chance to learn first hand how a content-driven company operates. As a Social Media Producer, I created content daily for the company’s Snapchat as well as created and hosted my own interview series for Periscope, where I interviewed alumni filmmakers.

My Broadway Bar

Role: Producer/Editor/Camera

My Broadway Bar is a web series that was a passion project of mine and my friend Ben Cameron's, who hosted and created the show. Being a huge musical theater fan living in NYC, this series focused on a different broadway actor in each episode, while promoting their favorite post show spot to grab a drink or a bite to eat in the city.
